Friday February 20, 2015 - At Sea Enroute to Montevideo, Uruguay

Friday February 20, 2015 – At Sea enroute to Montevideo, Uruguay

We got up about 8:30.  It was relatively calm last night.  We skipped breakfast as the ship is having its Grand Brunch Buffet at 10 am.  So we had coffee with Diego from Italy in the coffee bar and waited for the buffet to open.  IT was beautiful with ice sculptures, displays of food and a beautiful dessert spread.  We both had a salmon encrusted in dough and ham.  It was yummy.

We went to Martinis and relaxed and read for a while.  We left at 2 pm to go to the conclusion lecture of “Evita’s Lobotomy” by Dr. Nijenshon from Yale and the Mayo Clinic!  He is writing a book with evidence that Juan Peron had a lobotomy done on Evita without her knowledge to help her with pain management during her fight with cancer and to control her temper and defiance against her husband.  Seems plausible.

Tim went to workout while I walked laps around the upper deck.

We had a late dinner on the back deck and watched the sunset.  It has gotten so much warmer as we cruise north.  A beautiful evening and light dinner and we were almost the only ones outside enjoying it.

We caught the end of the last show with the singers and then the parade of cast members.  Then off to bed.  Last day at sea for a while (thank goodness).
