Monday February 2, 2015 – Ft Lauderdale to Lima, Peru
And we are off again!
We packed up the condo and left at 3 for the FLL airport. Terry and Chi
Chi took us. We have LOTS of luggage for
this trip as we’ll be gone for 36 days.
We checked in to JetBlue and had plenty of time to
wait. We discovered that we may have
more room on the plane but we are not in Business Class so there is no meal
service. Tim bought us sandwiches for
dinner at the airport before we left. We
loaded the plane on time only to have to wait for over an hour while they took
care of some problem. Frustrating.
We left about 7 for our 5 hour 20 minute non-stop flight to
Lima, Peru. Uneventful but the inflight
TV went out after only an hour so we had few choices of things to watch. A nap was in order.
We arrived in Lima, Peru about 1:15 am.
